How to specify a custom map

Use the Contact Us form to tell us you have a map idea. Really all we need is a description of what you want the map to show. An address or the name of a town or a geographical feature is a good place to start. It doesn't have to be a perfect description. 

We'll write back very quickly (we are compulsive email checkers) with a map proposal, which will be a screenshot from Google Maps in Terrain view with a rectangular boundary drawn around the proposed map extents. Then you can look at the proposed map and make suggestions, for instance "Move the south edge down a little".  We go back and forth over email until we have a complete map specification, including a size and price.

Then we ask for half down and start making the map when we receive your down payment.
